CARES Act

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) was signed into law on March 27, 2020. It provides more than $2 trillion of direct economic assistance for workers, families, small businesses, state and local governments and preserves jobs for American industries.

The CARES Act includes many funding sources such as :

  • Coronavirus Relief Fund
  • Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund
  • Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund
  • Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund
