CARES Act – Coronavirus Relief Fund

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) was signed into law March 27, 2020. It contained $1.9 billion for South Carolina through the Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF). The South Carolina General Assembly authorized the spending of the CRF in two phases: Act 142 of 2020 (Phase 1) and Act 154 of 2020 (Phase 2). The General Assembly designated the South Carolina Department of Administration as the administering agency for the CRF. Dashboard data indicating how receiving entities utilized awarded funds is displayed as designated and provided by the receiving entities.
